Who are we?
A project of our family
As a new challenge for our family, we, Jan and Nadine, decided to buy a new house with the aim of renting it out. This sounded very nice in the beginning but it soon became clear that this meant hard work. Eight months, a lot of help from friends and family and even more Ikea visits later, the result is finally there.

Why the name Mariposa?
Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish. With the butterfly we refer to Naomi (†), our daughter, our lost sister. The first letters of the name Mariposa also refer to our other children, Mirte and Arne. In addition, the butterfly is a symbol of transformation. A process that this house has certainly gone through. Patience, trust and the realization that everything will blossom when the time is right. Not to mention the hard work involved.
